VINTAGE 1940s ICE CREAM SIGN
Vintage lithograph paper large ice cream poster center fold sign measuring approximately 20-1/4" wide by 17-1/4" deep. Featuring a decorative scrollwork border, sign advertises MAPLE NUT ICE CREAM - it is marked COPYRIGHT G.P. GUNDLACH & CO., CIN'TI, O ~ PRINTED  IN U.S.A NO. 10, - poster was designed to be mounted behind an ice cream parlor counter to promote the product.
Condition is great with no damage other than tanning on the back paper with a few minor crimps on the edge as well - these are faint and do not detract. Never used or displayed, this is new old stock purchased from a defunct ice cream parlor in San Francisco, California. Bold graphics are striking - such an unusual sign - think it would be a fun addition to any collection or display!
