Our steel springs are manufactured to exceed OEM specification. Replace that worn out, dangerous spring today. Be sure to order a new mounting kit, too. When changing real springs or spring bolts, the stack up on the spring and plate should be checked against the bolt length. This due to the variation or leaf and liner thickness. Spring mount plate and bolts are sold separately. 63-77 Rear springs are 2-1/4 wide, 78-82 rear springs are 2 1/2 wide. We suggest you measure your spring width before ordering, since springs and rear covers are universal and yours may have been changed. These springs are shipped with a band clamp which is not original. These are for shipping purpose. Cutomer will have to remove these clamps prior to spring installation. Replacement rubber anti-squeek liner, not plastic.
