The artist is known for designing with soft, playful forms.  With the tealight candle holders, City Lights, Monica Ritterband created a concept with which you can create your own path of candlelight by using small glass cobblestones.  "I have always been fascinated by cobblestones, and when I walk around old city centers I often have my nose to the ground so that I can read the ravages of time and history in the old cobbles.  The century's old hand-cut cobbles are most beautiful and I have always found it exciting to turn an old heavy cobble steeped in history into a small cobblestone tealight candle holder of the finest glass," says Monica Ritterband.
