    Description

    This auction is for a beautiful rare midcentury modern Rosenthal Germany porcelain rounded triangular shaped set of six (6) plates each with wonderful colorful pattern and figural cubist designs as shown in the pictures taken with and without flash. The design pattern (which I do not know the name of) and the colors are wonderful. It is probably from the 1950s or 1960s. The overall condition of each plate is very nice, with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. The back of the plates are marked with the Rosenthal Germany Crown marking, Kunstabteilung, SELB V, with Hilda Sandtner’s signature, and some other letters and numbers or artists marks. This are truly a spectacular set of dishes and would look great in anyone’s midcentury modern dinnerware collection. The plates are stackable and each measure about 7 and three-quarter inches by 7 and three-quarter inches in each major direction. they each stand about just over 1 inch high at ends. Please review all pictures carefully as they constitute part of the description. This set just happens to contain six plates but there could be more in this series.
    Due to the amount of increasing claims going unpaid- I will now be forwarding the upaid item cases to Ebay within 2 days after auction end and yes it is allowed!!  For those of you who pay on time don’t take this personally. Contact me if you know you will have a reason to delay payment.  No buyers from S. Korea or Brazil please- too many people not paying or following through with the transactions.

    The shipping amount listed on this auction is only an estimate and the actual amount may be higher or lower than what is listed based on the size of the package and where you live.  I don't prebox and weigh the items ahead of time.  Also I charge a handling fee for bubble wrap and peanuts, etc. and it also covers insurance depending on how much is needed and this is reflected in your shipping cost on the invoice.  Please pay invoice within two days of being received.
