Elegant Antique Rosenthal Bavaria 9” Art Nouveau Two Handled Vase - Signed - Hand Painted Purple Violets - Gold Trim
Art Nouveau shape, beautifully hand painted violets in shades of lavender, purple, blue and green, on pale yellow background, with gold handles and top rim. Inside glaze is white opalescent.
9” High, approx. 4 1/2” diameter at widest point, 2 1/2” top and bottom diameters, 4 1/2” across top of handles.
Marked on bottom: Rosenthal Crown logo, Bavaria, artist’s initials, and an incised 18 or 81
Excellent condition! No chips, cracks or noticeable scratches. Small rub of gold paint loss on the top corner of one handle (see pic), and a few light surface scratches- only visible when scrutinized under bright light. An outstanding piece!
