    Description

    Offered is a Vintage 1951 Paden City Pottery Chop Plate. This chop plate is in the Minion Gray pattern. Paden City Pottery was in operation from 1914 until 1953. It has a square outer shape with a circular center and is handled. It is marked on the bottom with the Paden City Pottery backstamp with what I believe to be a date code of D-51.
    The chop plate measures approximately 13 1/2" handle to handle, 12 3/8" rim to rim and 8" in diameter at the base. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, crazing or repairs. It has usage marks consistant with light usage. There are also 3 kiln marks on the backside.
