The majority of signs sold on eBay are fakes or reproductions even though they are not listed or priced that way. I suggest before spend hundreds of dollars on an original piece you do your research to verify that it is real. utilize groups on Facebook like vintage sign authentication or porcelain sign trader, use auction sites, hobby books and guides to help you learn the differences and help stop fakes from spoiling the hobby.
I bought this sign off of eBay about 3 years ago being told it was an original. As I have learned now it is not. This is definitely a FAKE/REPRODUCTION porcelain sign. With that being said is is still unique/rare and it still displays great nice white and red colors. Good porcelain ice cream sign good to hang in a man cave, garage, restaurant, advertising collection, etc. Measures 11 in x 8 1/2 please see pictures for condition before purchase
